Welcome to Ruben Kretzschmar Photography!

In my photography, I aim to capture fascinating landscapes, places, or a particular mood I have experienced on my trips in nature or in cities throughout the world. My hope is that the viewer's eye will be pulled into the image and the viewer can imagine the scene as I have experienced it. We live on a wonderful planet, but unfortunately, our natural environment in many regions is increasingly degraded, which becomes a major threat to biodiversity, water quality, and people's livelihoods. My images illustrate what we may  lose if we fail to act rapidly and protect nature much more effectively than in the past.
